Tournament Information

• Date: Saturday, February 21st, 2026
• Location: University of California, San Diego (UCSD)
• Address: 9500 Gilman Dr, La Jolla, CA 92093
• Division: C
• Number of Teams: 42

Registration Confirmation

Your team will be fully registered after completing the following:

• Verify your team is listed on the official team list
• Mail check to the address below (check team list to confirm payment received)

Please submit your payment as soon as possible to secure your spot.

• Open: January 16th @ 4:00 PM
• Closes: February 6th @ 4:00 PM
• Deadline pushed back one week from original
• Login information sent to head coaches

Forms to Submit at Check-In

Please bring the following forms to check-in at Sun God Lawn on tournament day:

• Team Roster (for coaches)
• Group and Individual Waivers
• Photo Release

Parking

• Rate: $2.25/hour (max $9/day)
• Park only in: Visitor ("V") parking spots
• Do not park in: "24/7 Reserved", "A", "B", "S" spots (may be ticketed or towed)
• Available structures: Scholars Parking, Pangea, South Parking, Gilman, Hopkins Parking

UCSD and Science Olympiad at UCSD are not responsible for tickets, towed vehicles, theft, or damage.

Home Base

• Location: Sun God Lawn (by school assignments)
• Check-in: Starts at 7:00 AM
• Clean-up: Starts at 5:30 PM

Policies

• No staking into the grass (bring tents that don't require stakes)
• No glitter or confetti
• No amplified sound until 5 PM
• Collect all trash in trash bags and dispose in provided dumpsters

Headquarters

Location: Sun God Lawn Officers Table (marked on map)

Awards Ceremony (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

• Location: Price Center Ballroom East
• Capacity: 600 people (assigned seating)
• Guaranteed spots: 15 competing students per team + 2 coaches per school
• Entry: Wristbands required and will be checked
